You may use the service to send and receive email, store and share files, keep calendars, configure domains and API keys, and give your own users or systems access through the API, IMAP, SMTP and CalDAV. You may not use it for unsolicited bulk mail, fraud, malware, or to bypass someone else's security.

On the shared pinemail.app domain you may only send as your own mailbox addresses. A domain of your own has to be verified before you send from it.

Each plan has limits on storage, sending per month, mailboxes, domains and file size, listed on the pricing page. When a limit is reached, the action that would exceed it is refused until the limit resets or you free space. Mail still arrives when storage is full. Before an upload is refused for lack of space, mail attachments older than 30 days that you have not starred or pinned are removed.

The paid plan is billed by use: storage and sending, and a small fee for the account. It is not on sale until card payment opens, and the prices shown until then are provisional. Enterprise accounts are set up and invoiced by agreement. While capacity is limited, new accounts may be closed.

You decide who a file is shared with and for how long, and you are responsible for sharing only what you are allowed to. A shared link works until the end date you choose or until you remove it. Large files you send are deleted when their time runs out. We may remove a share or a transfer that is used for abuse.

You are responsible for the email address, password, and authenticator codes. You can change your name and password, attach an authenticator, revoke sessions, and delete keys. We may pause sending from, or suspend, an account that is used for abuse or that harms the delivery of other customers' mail. Write to contact@pinemail.app to contest a suspension.

What you store remains yours. When you send or receive mail and store files for your organisation you are the controller of that content and we are the processor. That is set out in the data processing agreement, which you accept when you create an account. We do not use your content for our own purposes, and never to train AI models.

We fix faults we caused. The service is provided without a guarantee of unbroken availability. Report faults to contact@pinemail.app.

Swedish law applies. Disputes are heard by the ordinary courts. Consumers may also use the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes and EU dispute resolution.
